WINTER TOURS
Duration: 2 hours
2 person minimum
This is a guided tour. Begin at the shop where you’ll choose between nordic skis, snowshoes or fat tire bikes. Once fitted for skis at the shop, you and your guide will head to the trails where you’ll explore under the night sky. With minimal light pollution and optimal geographic location, Talkeetna is one of the best places for star gazing, aurora viewing and exploring under the bright moonlight. While we cannot guarantee the aurora will be visible, we’ll get you in our very favorite places to witness it if it does appear! The stars are just as amazing! Hot beverages and headlamps are included.

Get fitted at the shop and meet your guide who will choose a custom route based on your ski level. Talkeetna’s trail system is almost triple the size in the winter than in the summer with access across our many frozen swamps. Glide across our groomed trail system and enjoy the quiet winter solitude. On clear days, many views of Denali and the Alaska Range are visible from our trails. Take a break and warm up with hot chocolate along the way.

Get fitted at the shop and meet your guide who will choose a custom route based on current conditions. Talkeetna has miles of fantastic groomed trails perfect for exploring via bike. Stop along the way for a hot chocolate break, view the mountains or potentially spot wildlife.
SUMMER TOURS
Duration: 5-7 hours
2 person minimum
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure, fat biking in the foothills of Denali. Pedal alongside historic and current gold mining claims and take in the epic scenery of the surrounding mountains. This ride is mostly downhill, but be prepared for some elevation gain as well. The trail crosses numerous creeks where you are guaranteed to get wet and muddy. You get to choose the length of this tour from 11 miles to 26 miles. Once finished, the support vehicle will meet you at your end point and bring you back to Talkeetna. This tour is guided and includes lunch, water and snacks.
Duration: 2 hours
Explore Talkeetna’s trails and main points of interest from your bike. Your guide will share local information about the Talkeetna area and will customize the route based on your desired activity level and experience.
Self Guided (4 hours)
Hop on a bike and pedal 12 miles via mountain bike trails or Talkeetna’s paved bike path to the Denali Brewing Tasting room. This tour includes bike rental, a pizza and two drinks per person. When finished, give us a call and our driver will bring you back to downtown Talkeetna.
